When we say the name Rain-X, some readers might think of the old days of applying a coating to your windshield manually with an applicator or something like that. Thanks to Rain-X's newest innovations, those days are over. The new Rain-X Latitude Water Repellency windshield wipers have integrated the windshield-coating technology into the wipers themselves, giving customers a chance to embrace the long-lasting Rain-X protection without all of the labor - and without worrying if you're applying it correctly.
The way it works is with a coating on the Latitude Water Repellency wipers themselves. Protected by a plastic sheath while in the package, the coating is set to apply itself to the windshield by following some simple directions. Once you've cleaned the windshield and installed the wipers, you can remove the protective sheathing and run the wiper blades for 2-3 minutes at a medium speed. This process allows the wipers to apply Rain-X water repelling glass treatment to the windshield. Feel free to reference our video for install instructions with a visual guide.
