Importfest returned to Toronto, Ontario, Canada for their 20th Anniversary at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, and hundreds of cars were on display. The event definitely lived up to its hype as “Canada’s BIGGEST & BADDEST Car Show.” We were on-site with our 㽶Ƶֱ Tuning 365 TV set; Patrick Dinglasan and Tim Rutledge were behind the cameras, while 㽶Ƶֱ OG Richard Robles was on-screen and in front of the cameras (in our absence) and interviewed industry icons, car competitors and vendors. (Fun Fact: Richard was there for the very 1st Importfest at the Skydome)
Here are some of the builds that grabbed my attention:
- Ryan Hunt’s Pandem RocketBunny Flyin’ 350z was on display in his joint booth with J3P. AG Wheels w/ carbon barrels, one-off 14-karat gold centre caps w/ matching hardware and satin black faces. all wrapped in Michelin Pilot SuperSport tires.
- Ziad debuted the new livery on his Toyota Supra GR rolling on 20" Niche Road wheels, wrapped in Pirelli tires.
- Glyn’s Toyota GT86 was seen lighting it up with his dancing LEDs. He's also part of Team Nextmod, who won Best Team!
Importfest was host to another round of our 10th Annual Tuner Battlegrounds Championship presented by Liqui Moly. The final 2 competitor builds were displayed at our booth - Jasmin’s Hyundai Elantra and Marcello’s Subaru Legacy Wagon. With a total of 255 overall votes, Jasmin was announced as the winner of the award category competition and presented with the award on stage.
Congratulations to Jasmin and shout-out to all the competitors and especially to all the voters!
