Kyle Crangle has had his fair share of experience in S-chassis builds. He crashed an S14 drifting (oops), blew up at least 5 SR20s (oops, again), and finally settled on a build style that fits his personality and driving tastes. After his experience with too many SRs failing under high power builds, he decided it was finally time to bite the bullet and swap in a 1JZ-GTE from a JZX100 to handle the kind of power he wanted in his 240sx.
With a Borg Warner S261SXE mated to his JZ, and all sorts of supporting mods to keep it working together, the heart of Crangle鈥檚 S14 is ready to go at any time. Styling remains relatively simple and JDM pure, with an emphasis on remaining a fun street car that can get down at the track. His combination of high performance and simple styling earned him a Driver鈥檚 Choice award at Tuning365 FD St. Louis in 2024.
