Following the release of the fuel rails for the Nissan GT-R, Radium is announcing two more new products for the 2009+ R35 Nissan GT-R: Billet aluminum coolant tank kit and a comprehensive oil catch can kit. Each if these products is discussed below.
The Radium Engineering billet aluminum coolant tank replaces the plastic OEM tank located at the front of the engine bay (shown below) in the R35 GT-R. Full functionality of the cooling system is retained in a more compact and robust package.
The coolant tank is CNC machined from 6061 aluminum and is anodized and laser engraved. It installs on a custom designed mounting bracket for the R35 that utilizes factory mounting points, so no drilling or permanent modifications are required.
The compact size frees up room for aftermarket modifications and makes the engine easier to access for servicing.
Unlike the OEM plastic coolant tank, the aluminum construction of the Radium coolant tank is not prone to fatigue cracking after repeated high heat loading. Furthermore, the Radium coolant tank can be disassembled and serviced at any time. The aluminum coolant tank also features an integrated swirl pot so that incoming hot water has a chance aerate. All connections into the coolant tank are -AN ORB (O-ring) for the best reliability.
The kit includes all parts for an easy bolt-on installation.
Note: The OEM radiator cap can be re-used, or a Radium cap may be selected as an option on the product page.

Radium is introducing a triple catch can kit for the R35 GT-R. This kit utilizes Radium's standard tried-and-true catch cans packaged specifically for the GT-R.
The VR38 engine features a crankcase vent line coming from each valve cover. These two lines are routed to the dual catch cans on the front of the engine, then to the air intake tubes. This is as far as other GT-R catch can kits on the market go.
With years of catch can kit design behind them, Radium Engineering knows that on most engines a significant amount of blow-by oil is drawn into the intake manifold from the PCV valve. Placing a catch can on the PCV hose is the best way to keep the blow-by oil and vapors out of the intake manifold. The PCV catch can installs in the compartment near the brake master cylinder (LH drive cars only).
With all three catch cans fitted, the engine is protected on all sides from oil ingestion.
The dual crankcase kit and the single PCV kit can be purchased separately, or the two kits can be purchased together (Triple catch can kit).
