The NUROTAG: Chicago Edition took place at the Navy Pier in Chicago, IL on Sunday, October 12, 2014. It was the same day as the Chicago Marathon, but that didn't stop the cars from coming out!
The cream-of-the-crop from Chicago and the mid-west surrounding area showed up for this event and managed to find their way across the city with all the closed-down roads. Abel from NUROTAG made sure his team had alternate routes mapped-out to help with the confusion which was a great help to show car owners.
The thousands of attendees witnessed an amazing event! Hundreds of Chicago's top-notch cars were on display for their viewing pleasure, along with a dozen or so vendors that had their products on display and for purchase.
A few notables from the event: Brian Vela with an RB-powered Silvia S15 and Luis Sanchez with white Toyota Supra pushing 762 horsepower at the wheels! Some of my personal favorites were the classic imports, and there were many on display at NUROTAG.
The show not only had cars of all styles for everyone to enjoy but the world renowned German graffiti artist, Rene Turrek, worked his magic all day on a white wrapped Honda Accord. By the end of the day, it was a work of art!
I think everyone should appreciate the hard work put into NUROTAG as it was an enjoyable show with many cars and vendors.
Thanks to Abel and his staff! We hope to see you back in Chicago for 2015. #pasmag
