This Vibrant Performance booth car was an easy pick for Editor Adam Gordon’s Top 10 Cars of SEMA 2022. The R32 Nissan Skyline GT-R built by Devin Mariannino and Josh Ray of Driver Motorsports is one of the most complete and well thought out Skyline builds we’ve seen at SEMA in recent memory. In addition to an RB30 bottom end mated to a RB26 head, displacement is boosted to 3.2L. The fit and finish of each fabricated part is immaculate, and the guys went so far as to include electric A/C in the car as well!
Full custom electronic systems with solid state fuses and relays are ready to go without any issues. It’s also on air suspension with a great hardline setup in the back. It also has JL Audio equipment, custom lighting from Steve Molans, and a nicely integrated center console with auxiliary functions intact. Garage Active’s kit and carbon fiber pieces are super clean, and make the car stand out, even sitting still. The bronze Work Meister S1s are just the icing on the cake. There are so many tasteful yet wild modifications to this thing, you have to check out the video!
